Sheep Inc links with The Seam for repair services

Sheep Inc, the natural fibres-focused label that calls itself “the world’s first carbon-negative fashion brand”, has teamed up with a major UK repair platform to extend the life of its garments and reduce fashion waste.

Sheep Inc

The regenerative knitwear brand, has announced the launch of The Knit Clinic — a dedicated repair and care service created in partnership with The Seam.

It reinforces the label’s long-standing “commitment to circularity and garment stewardship by offering customers an easy, professional way to maintain and extend the life of their knitwear”.

Through The Seam’s digital platform, customers can book a range of aftercare services, from stitch repairs and reblocking to de-pilling and general refresh treatments. All services are carried out by experienced makers with specialist knitwear expertise.

It’s just gone live on Sheep Inc’s website and is available to all UK-based customers. Once booked, garments are collected, repaired or refreshed, and returned directly to the customer — usually within a few days.

It comes a couple of months after Sheep Inc took another circularity-focused step and “reimagined” the swim category via The Merino Swimshorts.

Made entirely from fully traceable natural fibres, engineered for performance and “built to return to the earth”, it’s created from Reda Active 100% ZQ-certified Merino wool, with a Yarnaway biodegradable lining “that leaves no trace, no microplastics, and no compromises”.
