Bravissimo online sales paused after warehouse fire

A warehouse fire has meant disruption and delays to supply chains for lingerie and swimwear specialist Bravissimo’s online customers.

According to reports, the blaze broke out at the end of last week with the retailer saying  said that no one was hurt in the incident, and the fire was quickly extinguished.

But the disruptions involving having to find temporary storage facilities mean that customers are facing delays as orders will take longer to process.

The lingerie giant is also not accepting any orders online or over the phone until the issue is resolved.
Shoppers can, however, still buy items in the stores at the moment.

But the company also warned that some stores may not receive new stock and admitted the impact of the fire “was very complex”.

“Most importantly, our teams are all safe; however, we do now need to re-establish our warehouse and our order processing operation which will take a little time.

“This sadly means that we cannot currently receive or send out anything from our warehouse, and as a result, we cannot take any orders from our website or over the phone”.

However, social media posts also confirmed its stores “were open as normal, so if you do usually shop with us online we would love to welcome you into any of our 25 stores across the UK”.
