Victoria’s Secret opens standalone flagship store at Derbion

Global intimates brand Victoria’s Secret has opened a flagship store at the Derbion shopping centre in the East Midlands. The brand is expanding from operating in a previous space within the Next store and into its own individual unit.

On a 10-year lease, the 5,712 sq ft lingerie, clothing and beauty brand’s new store features the full product line, including bras, lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear and fragrance.

Alongside the main lines, the store also includes Victoria’s Secret’s sister line Pink, plus complimentary fittings with expert in-store Bra Fit Specialists.

To mark the weekend opening Victoria’s Secret also hosted a series of events with exclusive giveaways, in-store entertainment and free personalised services.

Nicola Reeve, head of Retail at Victoria’s Secret, said: “Over the past few years, we have continued to expand our presence across the UK opening new locations in thriving retail destinations. This new space at Derbion will allow us to serve more of our customers from across the East Midlands as well as draw in new visitors.”

Beth McDonald, Managing Director at Derbion, added: “The arrival of Victoria’s Secret is testament to our progressive leasing strategy which continues to attract iconic brands.”
